Historic Totnes and its Town Houses
| This year, we are meeting at the Church of St John, 26 Bridgetown, Totnes TQ9 5AB. Registration with coffee and cakes at 9.45 – 10am, followed by three talks on historic Totnes from 11am – 12.30pm. The lunch break will extend from 12.30am – 2pm so that attendees can take time wandering up Fore Street, through the South Gatehouse to High Street. The conference notes will identify selected historic buildings to view en route. We will gather at 2pm in the north side gap between Nos 8 & 10 High Street to visit a couple of very fine Tudor Town Houses, both refurbished in the C18th. As usual, places are free for DBG members, but guests of members will be charged a fee of £10. RSVP through the Contact Us page. |
