Helping at Haldon Belvedere
The Devon Historic Buildings Trust are looking for volunteer stewards for Haldon Belvedere:
The Georgian Grade II* listed building Haldon Belvedere (Lawrence Castle) needs volunteers to help with public opening of this beautiful building.
We are currently looking for volunteer stewards to assist with the opening of the Haldon Belvedere to visitors from Easter Sunday 20th April 2014 to 28th September 2014 on Sunday & Bank Holiday afternoons from 2pm-5pm.
We are inviting potential volunteers and existing stewards for a briefing on either:
Wednesday 19th March 2014 at 6.30pm to approx. 7.30pm
Saturday 29th March 2014 at 2.30pm to approx. 3.30pm
Would any DBG members be interested in coming along and learning about this wonderful tower and how to be a steward?
If these are not convenient dates we will be arranging an early April meeting but it would need suit anyone who could not attend these original dates.
